Charlie Janssen

After graduation, Charlie joined the United States Navy. He saw active duty in the Middle East during the 1991 Gulf War and received an honorable discharge from the Navy in 1993.

Charlie entered Wayne State College, Wayne Nebraska, in the fall of 1993. Charlie majored in communications with a minor in business management. He graduated from Wayne State with a Bachelor of Science degree in communications and a Minor in sports management. 

After graduation, Charlie accepted a position in the sports department at a television station in Sioux City, Iowa. After a year of media experience, Charlie turned his communications skills towards a recruiting career. Charlie spent three very successful years recruiting medical personnel for part time positions around the country.

Charlie is very active in the Fremont community. He is a member VFW Post 854 and American Legion Post 20. Charlie is President and a Board member of the Fremont Veterans Club and is active in Fremont Masons, Scottish Rite, Tangier Shriners and Sinai Lutheran Church.

Charlie currently resides in Fremont, Nebraska and has two children, Charlie Junior and Betsy Anne.
